What the Moms are Saying!

  • "Erica radiated such a calming presence. She knew exactly what to do."

    Mommy M

  • “I wanted to say a huge thank you to Erica who has helped us overnight learn so much about swaddling, diaper changing, and even helped with a recommendation when our baby girl had a little congestion that worked so well! We feel so much more confident as new parents because of the support we’ve received. Cant thank you enough!”

    Mommy A

  • “Postpartum, Erica has provided tons of resources along with the warmest care! My husband and I are both so thankful and highly recommend her for both birth and postpartum doula care!”

  • Birth Education

This birth class is designed for women who want to approach birth through the lens of physiology and intuition—honoring the innate wisdom of the body while understanding how birth works on a biological level. Whether you're planning to birth at home, in a hospital, or a birth center, this class equips you with the knowledge and tools to navigate your experience with confidence and clarity.

We’ll dive deep into the hormones that drive labor, explore the natural rhythms of undisturbed birth, and help you understand what supports—not disrupts—those processes. You'll also learn the risks and benefits of commonly offered interventions, and how to make empowered decisions if they’re suggested. And because birth can be unpredictable, we’ll guide you through how to pivot with confidence when your plan needs to change—without feeling like you're losing control.

This class is for mothers who want minimal to no interventions unless medically necessary and are ready to take an active role in their birth experience. You’ll leave feeling informed, prepared, and in charge—trusting your body, your instincts, and your choices.

  • Birth Doula

Birth support includes two prenatal sessions where we cover all the birth prep+educational aspects to prepare you for your birthing time and for us to build trust as a team. Birth support also includes phone access as well as in person support during your birthing time and immediate hour postpartum.
Whether you are delivering at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital, we will make it a sanctuary.  I will honor your space and your preferences, encouraging you to voice your choices with confidence. I am especially skilled in coping techniques for unmedicated birth as well as VBAC support. You will have continuous care from a me and we will work as a team with your other support people to ensure your autonomy is respected and you remain in charge of your birth experience.

  • Postpartum Doula

Support after birth (daytime or overnight) can begin as soon as your baby arrives, with shifts lasting 8 to 9 hours. Support is mother focused, family centered, which means YOUR healing and rest is paramount. This support might look like warm meals prepared fresh, foot soaks, sitz baths, birth processing, lactation support, assistance with small household tasks like laundry or loading the dishwasher, or can be me tending to your sweet new baby while you get some much needed sleep. Most families book 4-8 weeks of postpartum support, often beginning immediately after birth. A custom care plan is decided upon collaboratively. This support books out far in advance, so do not wait until the last minute to secure services!

  • Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is a centuries-old tradition, found to enhance healing postpartum. I consider it an honor to perform this processing for moms!
The placenta will be picked up from the home, birth center, or hospital within 24 hours of delivery. Prior to your birth, we will discuss safe storage, when to contact me to ensure timely retrieval, and which of the two main methods you prefer.
I service clients who deliver in Irvine, Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, and the surrounding Beach Cities.
The placenta is processed and delivered back to you within 7 days of your birth. The package includes your encapsulated placenta, umbilical keepsake, and framed placenta art.

So excited to meet you!

I’m Erica - a doula, wife, and mother to two energetic boys who keep me on my toes, and I never say no to a cup of iced coffee. After receiving doula care when my youngest son was born, I saw that birth is not just a physical event; it’s a deeply emotional and personal occasion.  I’m passionate about providing warm care for families as they transition into parenthood - whether it is the first or sixth time. The pregnancy, birth, and postpartum season demands a special kind of attention to healing, rest and love. I’ve been honored to guide parents through these seasons with compassion and customized support for over 5 years now!

“After having a very traumatic first birth experience that ended in a c-section, I knew I wanted a doula for my next birth, specifically someone who had experience working with VBAC moms. I was able to have a successful unmedicated VBAC! Ericas gentle voice, touch, and reminders helped me so much! I could not imagine giving birth again without her!”

Mommy M

“My doula Erica made my birth experience so special! I didn’t have a doula with my first three children, but my 4th birth changed all that! She taught me how to stay relaxed and comfortable during my unmedicated birth and helped create a beautiful moment for my husband and I”
